Craigangawn Buttress Traditional Cache

Straightforward cache beside the old quarry, proper footwear essential, mostly uphill on grass, not too steep. Unusual buttress with lone tree next to GZ. There is no need to enter the quarry and no climbing or scrambling is involved.
****NOTE..Not suitable for night caching or young children..**** Start and park on Stockiemuir Road (see waypoint) there is room for a couple of cars here or alternatively almost opposite side of road, do not block the gates in either case.
Cross the gate into the field and head left to old road, follow road to the bridge, cross fence at obvious point and go over bridge following little path through broom.
On the other side cross wall immediatly after wooden gate, head off uphill towards large electricity pylon, pass pylon on your right and come to a small stream, cross the stream and turn left, follow stream to your goal.
You do not need to go on either the first or the second buttress to get the cache, so please do not ||| The large buttress with the tree on top looks almost man made like a wall, I guess it is natural though, nature has managed almost to take back the quarry now.
