Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy cache situated on Bungay Outney Common. It is the third in a expanding series which invites 'cachers' to experience this beautiful and historic part of North Suffolk. The cache is situated just off a fairly busy footpath but distraction can be easily achieved by reading the informative notice board which is situated nearby.
Please ensure you bring a pen or pencil as the cache is quite small.

The large building which dominates the south-eastern skyline is that of Clays, a subsidiary of the St. Ives Group. Clay's has been printing books since it took over from the original owner, Charles Childs way back in 1876. The quality of the printing was highly sought after and in the 1930's there commenced a gradual change from printing magazines and hard-bound books to the then new and specialized production of the paperback book. The company went public in 1956 and increasingly concentrated on printing and binding both paperbacks and text books. Whilst the company print a vast range of books probably their most famous runs were that of the 'Harry Potter series written by J. K Rowling. Chances are that if you've read the books they were printed here at Bungay!

Whilst in the Waveney area why not try your luck at finding the others in the series:

'Populus Alba & Canescens'
'A Common Thread'
'The Falcon'

Congratulations to Dawn&Dave for their FTF!
