This is my 10th cache reference to some of my favorite courses I have ever played. The course I am referring to here is Wild Bluffs, located in Brimley, MI.
Wild Bluffs is located on the Northeast part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is just south of Lake Superior, and this course offers some really breathtaking views the Lake and the awesome terrain our great state has. The course takes you up and down and around some really gimmicky and unique holes. Among many of the holes, the 18th stood out in my mind. This hole was a longish par 4 with a 100 ft elevated tee that has Lake Superior in the background, and a massive clubhouse in the foreground. It was a great Kodak moment for sure, as well as the birdie, to end a great round....
Now for the cache....assuming you completed the "front 9" in my series, I am going to start you off the "back 9" with a simple park and grab. I don't know about you, but after I refresh in the clubhouse, the last thing I need is a difficult starting hole. This is really easy and will pump you up for the tougher ones to come....
You are looking for a large micro, no big deal, a usual hide really....place as found, and bring a pencil to sign the log.
CONGRATS TO LINCOLNSAUNT FOR BEING FTF!!!
