Team GeoMatt123 are locals of the Albany area, so we felt it only appropriate to share some history with you... while you search for a cache!
The Phillips Property - Matthew Phillips bought this land in 1863. He established a butchery, bakery and a gum store here. Fresh meat and bread were delivered to the outlying gumfields twice a week and once a week the gumdiggers would come into Lucas Creek to sell their gum and buy supplies before retiring to the Way Inn. The remnants of the gum and grain store can be seen here and a replica of the Phillips cottage is located near the main Highway.
Cache is a small (very) camo'd bucket with plenty of space for bugs and swaps. Please use brown tab to open lid and be careful placing back.
Be careful if you bring wee cachers - there is a steep bank that runs down to Lucas Creek near GZ.
Bring mozzie repellent....
