The Roslin Glen Road has been closed for at least 3 years now, due to subsidence, but you can still drive your car some way along the road, there is parking on the side of the road just before fence that has been erected across the road. There is a gateway which is open for walkers. You do not necessarily need to go through the gate, there is a path that starts before the fence.
A clip lock box, hidden in the very small section of the Roslin Glen Wildlife Reserve, it is off the path, on the left hand side of the Roslin Glen Road,(if you are coming from the Rosewell side)but you can gain access from either end of the road, it will be a longer and harder walk from the bottom of the Roslin Glen Road.
The terrain rating is for the Rosewell Side.
