Geocache Description:

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

Mission: Impossible was a popular television series which aired on the CBS network from September 1966 to March 1973. It chronicled the missions of a team of secret American government agents known as the Impossible Missions Force (IMF). The leader of the team was Jim Phelps. Most episodes begin with the leader of the IMF getting orders from a hidden tape recorder and an envelope of photos and information which explains the mission. The tape always begins with "Good morning/afternoon/evening, Mr. Phelps." Then it explains the situation and ends with "Your mission, should you decide to accept it" with a brief explanation of the goal of the mission. Following this is the reminder, "As always, should you or any of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions." At the end of the tape's instructions the leader would be notified, "This tape will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck!." This is a two stage cache with a field puzzle in the first stage, which is at the posted coordinates, and is in keeping with the theme of the cache to guide you to the final stage.

This cache is located within Oakwoods Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $35. Senior (62+) Permit $21. Daily Permit $10
