I am a recovering Soccer Mom. I have been all over Middle TN with
King B and his sister SquirrelQueen. I have seen many windswept,
fields populated by small shrieking day-glo creatures endlessly
chasing that black and white ball. I have been one of the folding
chair sentries keeping guard over the orange slices and water
bottles. I have kissed boo-boo's given hugs and high fives to my
kids and others.
But those days are past, teenagers don't want their moms cheering
from the sidelines. Its kind of nice to have my life back. In all
our travels this field was the hardest to find. I thought I would
place a cache here in case you need to find this soccer park. Also
because my favorite part of this place is up the road. There is a
statue of a mason on the left in the curve before the gas station.
If you catch it at the right angle or if you have a warped mind
like I do then you will need to stop for a photo op. Just make sure
the kids are looking the other way. You know its the little things
that make us happy!
