This is a replacement for GC28DJA, which retired after the
trees alongside the lay-by were chopped down on 18th February 2011
as part of the A46 widening scheme. Amazingly the cache container
survived and was retrieved the following day from the spot in the
photo below to be reincarnated as this cache, which is safely out
of the likely range of the roadworks.

At the time of placing you can park at the site of the original
cache, but that will almost certainly change as the roadworks
progress and you may have to go a little further towards Melton
Mowbray to find a safe spot.
It's a busy road so keep a close eye on small children and dogs.
While the terrain is flat and paved, the cache itself is not
wheelchair accessible. You are looking for a small sandwich box in
a black camo bag containing log, and pencil and just big enough for
geocoins and small trackables.
