Some of us have been coming down to The Prom for 30 years and love this area. We felt this spectacular part of Australia needed some more caches to entice more people to experience the natural beauty of Australia's most southern tip on the mainland.
This cache will bring you to Pillar Point. It has some amazing views of Norman Bay, the many Island around here and out to sea. Pillar Point is a 2 km walk from Tidal River. You can also access the walk to Squeaky Beach and Tidal Overlook from along the track out to Pillar Point. The track is very well used by walkers. Keep an eye out while walking the track you never know what sort of wildlife you may see. Once again don't forget your camera. Watch for muggles they could sneak up on you.
