WILDWOOD in the Firefly Forest *Archived 8-1-18* Traditional Cache
The Scout Master: I have just found out the land owner is selling the land to preserve the FireFlies. Due to this, I have decided to go ahead and Archive this 7+ year old geocache. Thanks to all who came and those who were able to see the wonderful FireFlies. Truly magical!

This out-of-the-way Park & Grab cache is in a spot we found today just following our noses up an old road.
Permission has been granted by Don L., owner of the land and Gallery.

TO GET THERE:
1)Turn off Hwy 288 (Pumpkintown Rd) near Marietta onto N. RIVER RD.
Go about 1.8 miles, and follow the "gallery" signs. You will eventually turn onto a road with no sign, go abouit .46mi, then turn right on Ryan Dr. (Again - follow the signs).
You will come to a GATE. There is a very good parking spot right there, and the cache is very near, just past the gate.
OR:
2) FROM HWY 276: you can turn onto Tilly Rd, go about 0.9 mi.
Turn left at County Rd 175/N River Rd, go 0.3 mi. Take the 1st right onto Ryan Dr 482 ft. Slight right to stay on Ryan Dr.

(If you wish, follow the road on another .15 miles into the FireFly Forest and you come to the place of business whose owner gave permission for this cache. Interesting spot, nice dog.)
You are searching for an 8-ounce ointment jar, about 4" tall and 2.5" wide, camouflaged to blend in with its surroundings.
You will not need Any stealth for this one. BYOP though, as there is no pen.

The mountainous region around this spot may hamper your GPS from getting the proper spot, so here's a SPOILER:
About 20 feet past the gate, step off the road up the bank to the LARGE ROCK. You should be able to find it from that.
