Located inside Cottage Lake Park - only available during park hours. Bring a pen or pencil. No room for trackables.
At one time, there was a nano cache at this location – it was the first cache we ever logged. Since then we’ve brought several people by this spot so they could get their first impression of geocaching.
Unfortunately the cache that used to be here fell into disrepair and was archived. The new hide is a bit different with a larger log, and precautions have been taken to prevent the container from being dropped over the edge of the bridge to be lost in the leaves - and even if it does fall to the ground, it should be easier to find.
Cottage Lake Park is a great location for caches. Some of the local Cub Scouts hold den meetings here, and they often try to find all the hides in the park. Hopefully this one will be challenging but fun.

CO Note: Bumped up difficulty to 2.5 as I've seen a few more DNF's on this than a 2.0 deserves.
CO Note #2: Bumped to a 3.0 due to even more DNF's. Not an easy one if you haven't found something like it before. This isn't just another velcro'd lock & lock or magnetic key holder. Think camo.
