Winfield
City Lake requires a $4.00 dollar recreation permit to visit the
grounds. You can obtain permits at the Lake Office, now located at
the Marina. Please take a moment to visit the website and read the
rules and regulations. The park rangers are very nice and aware of
the Geocaches at the lake. Please display your permit at all
times.

Timber Creek
Overlook
This Geocache is
located on the south side of Timber Creek, also known as Winfield
Lake. This is one of the highest points around the lake and a great
place to stop and soak in the scenery. You are looking for a 30 Cal
ammo can hidden along the rocky ridge. It is quite a ways down from
up here, so watch your step and be careful. This is a popular
place, so please be stealthy and CITO where
possible. Please include some pictures of your visit.
