This area is at first seemingly rather empty, but further scrutiny reveals a landscape full of surprising flora and fauna.
I am placing a cache for the first time and couldn't think of a better spot for it than along this road. I have seen the most surprising views in this area - everything from gorgeous barn owls at night in winter to southern hairy nose wombats who also love the darkness of winter but have cheekily shown themselves this summer too. The plants along this roadside are also surprising and the spring fragances are superb. An easy find - a definite "drive by".
