THIS CACHE, AND MY OTHER "FORCE 10" CACHES ARE UP FOR ADOPTION AS I AM MOVING OUT OF THE AREA. ANYONE FANCY TAKING THEM ON?
My first cache placement, and thanks to Zoe for giving me a “custom cache kit” as a Christmas present.
This cache is situated along a footpath between the Watchfield/Longcot road and the A420. It can get very muddy underfoot so wear appropriate footwear. There are water-filled ditches nearby so please keep children under control. Along the track you get splendid views of the splendid Westmill Wind Farm, and at one point you can look directly along the line of turbines. With the wind from the right direction this is a rather curious sight.
You’ve got a good chance of seeing buzzards, and these days the area does get regular visits from red kites. The cache can be done alone, or perhaps in conjunction with the nearby Longcot caches.
You are looking for a small cliplock box that has room for small trackables and swaps.
