iocane: Yesterday my wife asked me how close this cache was to the creek. She was wondering if it would have survived the recent rain/hail storm. My first reaction was that the cache would have survived just fine. However, just to be sure, I decided to hike down and check on it this morning. What I found was that the whole area appeared to have been under water. Yikes! The cache itself was overflowing with muddy slop. I hate to archive my first ever hide, but the time has come.
