steptoe: The final position for the cache was in a metal pipe in the southwest corner of the park, but it appears to have vanished again.
Sadly I will have to archive as I have relplcaed it a couple of times already.

Geocache Description:

A short multicache that starts at a memorial to a great visionary. It should take you less than 10 minutes to complete the cache.

At WP1 there is an historic drinking fountain that was dedicated to the campaign many years against "the demon drink". It is one of a few that were erected.
The area surrounding the fountain is now a memorial to a more recent great visionary.

At WP1, you are likely to be standing on the date info reqd.
Find the dates - abcd-efgh.
To work out WP2:

Add "d" to the southing of WP1
Subtract (d-a) x (g+h) to the Easting of WP1

At WP2 you will find a different dedication/memorial.
The dedication is 10-lines long.
Reset your variables from WP1.
Count the number of words per line to get the values of a to j.
(ie. the number of WORDS in Line 1 = a, etc)

To get WP3 -
Add ( a + d + e + i ) to the WP2 Southing
Subtract ( a + b + h + i ) to the WP2 Easting.

At WP3, find the cache (BYO Pen)

NB - Wheelchair accessible, but on a good slope, plus there is one step to negotiate.
The hint should not be needed.

Muggles should not be too much trouble, even though the area is pretty busy, as the cache can be accessed without looking obvious.
