Cache is located along the trail from Auburn to Rattlesnake Bar. A well maintained dirt trail with the normal hazzards for the area. PO, Snakes, Ticks and uneven ground.
While walking along the trail I was distracted by the noise of geese in the river. I made my way to this spot to see what was up. I was treated to a great view of the river. While I sat there looking across the river and watched the geese fly in and land on the rocky shoreline, I thought that this would be a fine spot for a snack a drink and a cache. After hiding the container I took a little break from the hike and enjoyed the scenery. Hope you do too!
Cache is a camo taped mayo jar. Log, pen and a few goodies.
