As has been noted in other caches, the Thomson By-Pass is now complete. At this location--in anticipation of future development--is a left turn to...nowhere. Perhaps it will be the back way out from Thomson-McDuffie Middle School. Perhaps it will be the access road to a new development. Perhaps... Well, for now it is just a left turn to nowhere, as well as the proud location of a geocache.
So what good is all of this information? Glad you asked: This previously unknown information, and $1.07, will get you a large iced tea @ Mickey D's.
(I've left the $1.07 for FTF, but how you spend it is up to you. If you want to get to Mickey D's, make a left turn as you leave this cache, and another left turn at lowdollar's cache, "By-Pass Surgery" (GC2N9B9). At least THEN you'll be making left turns to SOMEwhere.)
UPDATE 6/7/2013: Saw in the paper last week that "they" are starting the bid process to make this the "back" entrance/exit of Thomson-McDuffie Middle School.
