Episode 9 in the Stockport Scouting Series takes us to 3rd Offerton who meet in the 'Cubut' behind Offerton Precinct. The group are recognised by their scarlet neckers. The group is made up of all three of the group based youth sections Beaver Scouts 6 - 8 year olds, Cub Scouts 8 - 101/2 year olds and Scouts 101/2 - 141/2 year olds.
Cachers interested in joining the group as either a youth or adult member or just to gain information are invited to contact the cache owner who will assist you in making contact.
The Group Headquarters backs onto a car park and a precinct of shops so it goes without saying muggles have infiltrated everywhere! Please be discrete in the hopes of keeping the cache active.
Please note there have been reports of cachers looking around the hut within the boundary fence. The cache is outside the fence and is simple to find so there is no need to go inside 3rd Offertons Grounds or property. Please can cachers respect this as otherwise the Group Scout Leader may request that the cache be archived.
