Hekinan City is surrounded by water fronts all around; Lake Aburagafuchi in the north, Yahagi River in the east, and Kinuura Bay in the west and south. There are 16 rivers and bridges of 230 or more in the city. Egawa Bridge was in the southern part of the city. Egawa River was buried and Egawa bridge finished the role in 2008. And pocket park is in the side of the remains site.
In the Egawa River area, there was a salt farm. Yahagi River was flooded and the muddy stream hit Ohama in 1624. The salt farm continued since 1592 and buried. "ISIKAWA Hachiroemon" opened Horikawa River and Egawa River in 1628. The salt farm existed in "Shiohama-machi" until 1910.
This cache is hidden near the remains site.
