Hekinan City is surrounded by water fronts all around; Lake Aburagafuchi in the north, Yahagi River in the east, and Kinuura Bay in the west and south. There are 16 rivers and bridges of 230 or more in the city. Shiotori Bridge is in the southern part of the city and was completed in 2008. The bridge was connected the road in 2009 and opened. There are Genji bridge, Kami-Genji bridge and so on around Horikawa River. Egawa River was buried and Egawa bridge finished the role in 2009.
In the Egawa River area, there was a salt farm. Yahagi River was flooded and the muddy stream hit Ohama in 1624. The salt farm continued since 1592 and buried. "ISIKAWA Hachiroemon" opened Horikawa River and Egawa River in 1628. The salt farm existed in "Shiohama-machi" until 1910.
This first cache is hidden near the bridge.
