The land managers in charge of the Morrell Nature Sanctuary have asked that all geocaches be removed from their land. Therefore, I must archive this and all other listings within the sanctuary and I must ask all cache owners to remove their geocaches. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard.
Unlike the other caches within the park, this is a special case where the actual placement is not in the sanctuary but encourages off trail use from the sanctuary. This is one of the reasons the land managers have requested the caches be removed. Whenever there is a dispute between the geocaching community and a land owner, the land owner always wins. If there is an alternate route to your cache that does not encourage off trail use within the sanctuary, please feel free to contact me personally and we may be able to find a way to save this cache. In the meantime I will be erring on the side of caution and archiving this listing along with the others.
