Geocache Description:

Walk along a well-maintained snowmobile trail to a sweeping view. You will walk both up and down, but nothing too strenuous. Stay on the trails and you will not need snowshoes. The footing was perfect when the cache was hidden. If we get warm days and melting with freezing nights...or rain then a freeze, it will become very icy and some sort of traction will be required.

Container is a large peanut butter jar with trinkets and a log book. Needless to say, it is not in the chimney.

I started the hike on Young's Hill Rd. There was one possible parking area .2 mile from the entrance to the trail. The very beginning of the trail is a new logging operation. But the snowmobiles pass through and so did my sister and I, walking. But don't mistake it for parking!! The trail crosses Rt. 153 and a back road (Watson HIll Rd.) and I have no idea if parking would make sense there.

I can't believe that there was not a cache here before this one. It indicates that geocachers are not snowmobilers.
