Located in Kinnickinnic State Park. Be sure to have a daily pass
or yearly sticker. Take the main park road all the way to the end
where you’ll find ample parking. From here, walk down the
access road/trail to the bottom. The hike will be more pleasant and
will give you good access to the cache. Regular size cache that
should be accessible any time of year. The trail going down to the
beach (and river) is multi-use.
This is a great spot for a picnic in the summer, with plenty of
picnic tables, room to play, and a nice beach on the St. Croix
River. If you’re coming via watercraft, you can park your
craft on the sand near the beach. Enjoy the area!
