When I imagined this series of caches, my thoughts turned to the landscape of yesterday punctuated by the bright burst of neon. Unfortunately, what I found were sites surrounded by architectural incompatabilites, streets clogged with traffic, and no parking to be had. However, I did manage to locate three worthy representatives. Perhaps as I drive the streets, I'll find others to add to the collection.
The Five Points sign grouping was constructed in 1962. Its "Tomorrowland" street monument coupled with the neon blue building brights give this site a definite out-of-this-world feel.
UPDATE: As of 12/23/2011, the original container is no longer accessible, although it remains in place. The new container is "duck packet" with a log. Please bring your own pen.
