Geocache Description:

Leitchville was one of the last towns to be established in this
area.
In 1914 when the railway was coming Mr McKay opened a store
in a marque.
In 1916 he opened a sawmill Which closed in 1930.
The railway station opened in 1916 but sadly closed about 1972
Today it still stands and is used as The Lions Club Den.

The cache is a 1lt sistema container with clip on lid it is painted
black. It holds a log, pencil, some swaps and a Scratchie for
first to find I have also put one of my TB in called Cool Dude

Due to renovations on the old station we have had to move cache.
Cache is now a small round container painted black with push on lid.
