Geocache Description:

Muxton was originally a small village dating back to Saxon times, but has now grown with new residential dwellings constantly being erected.
It is situated between Lilleshall and Donnington on Telford’s very Northern outskirts.

The fields where these caches are placed enjoy superb views of both Lilleshall Hill and its Monument, The Shropshire Golf Course and The Humbers. It is a favourite area for dog walkers- (myself included!), joggers and ramblers, so please be wary of the Muggles!! There are generally some about!!

This is an unknown size cache with log book, pencil and 5 or 6 swaps plus a surprise for FTF!!
To make this cache more interesting for you it is locked with a 3 digit combination lock!
To access it you need to know about the person that the town of Telford was named after!
The answer to this and the next few questions are readily available on-line.

For the 1st number of the lock (A) you will need to find out the year this person was born ( _ A _ _ ).

For the 2nd number of the lock (B) in which month did this person die? Jan= 1, Feb= 2, etc.
For the 3rd and final number of the lock (C) you need to find out the year this person died ( _ _ _ C ).

You should now have a 3 number combination. When you reach the cache you will now be able to open the lock.
Please remember not to turn the number dials when the shackle is open as it will reset the combination of the lock and no-one else will be able to use it once the shackle is closed. When you have replaced the lock please mix up the combination for the next person.
When walking over the fields please try to stick to the pathways that others have used and avoid walking on any crop.
Depending on the weather there may be lots of mud about, so please be careful.
You should only need to enter the woods at GZ, please take care!!!
I am hoping my coordinates are ok, if not please let me know.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

JOINT FTF: SHROPSHIRE SEEKERS and BOLAS HEATHENS!!!
JOINT STF: WILD GOOSEY,BFG AND NOZI PARKERZ!!!
TTF: NANNIE OGG!!!
