In a nice little secluded spot on the edge of Lake Taharoa (the largest lake in the vicinity) sits the Dargaville Yacht Club's Kai Iwi boat shed. I have camped beside this shed a few times, it's an excellent spot to be right beside the lake whilst avoiding the pricey campsite fee! haha! Luckily it's hidden away amongst the trees. Nice easy walk from the boat ramp.
Micro. Check the Boatshed... sorry, co-ordinates probably aren't great, we were having trouble. More accurate ones would be appreciated!
