Geocache Description:

Your common, every day micro with a fancy name from Norse mythology that relates to the spot where the cache is stashed. Please rehide and cammo as well or better. And, if you can, keep everything ELSE looking good, too. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Thinking I was going to snag an FTF right down the street from where I always get my coffee and right on my way home, I wound up at this park with the joy and jubilation that a potential FTF brings the righteous geocacher. Alas, twas not to be, as I came up empty, wallowing in the bitter and putrid stench of DNF failure. Lots of neat little hidey holes, but no cache.

As it turns out, the cache I was going after was actually at other coordinates. And yet, thanks to the location snafu (theirs not mine), I realized I could place a hide in at least one of the little crannies that I'd looked in with mucho much frustration.

That night, cold, bleary-eyed, and tired, I trudged back to Starbucks without the cherished smiley. Hopefully, you won't experience the same feeling. Not on this cache, anyhow. May the fancy shmancy description kind of make up for the common, every day nature of the hide.
