Geocache Description:

The Judge's Chair is close to the B3357 and is situated very close to the suggested parking area, where you will see that it is now built into the enclosed pound .There is still a difference of opinion as to whether this "Chair" came from Crocken Tor where the tinners Parliament was held from around 1494.It also became known as Dinah's Chair, as the last keeper of Dunnabridge Pound was Dinah Tucket. It is traditionly thought that the Canopy was the Stannators table and the bench formed the Judge's chair. It was said that it was removed from Crocken Tor and drawn by 12 oxen. From suggested parking area you will have to walk on the road for approx 100yds to reach footpath, extra care with children needed.Cache is a short 10min walk.
