This cache is #5 of 16 in the series Central Jersey Jigsaw Puzzle Puzzle (GC2NYDC) as conjured up by my childhood friend, dkeato. Each of the 16 caches contains a jigsaw puzzle piece. Visit each cache, take a piece, and assemble the puzzle to learn the Playfair Keyword needed to decipher the coords for the final hide. Please do not take a puzzle piece as a tradeable as this is not swag. The cache is initially stocked with a whole bunch of pieces but please note in your log if there are only a few left to I can contact dkeato to replenish my supply!
This cache was placed in part to memorialize GC13VQT Alexauken Creek Adventure, placed on 6/24/07 and archived on 9/21/10 by Caver Bill. It was our 16th find, and our first multi. And what a multi it was! It consisted of 5 - yes, 5 - stages, some easier than others, but a lot of work for a smiley nonetheless. That might have explained why it was only found 6 times, as one or two of the stages tended to go missing pretty frequently which messed up the whole adventure.
This cache, however, is only 2 stages. For Stage One, park in the pulloff on Alexauken Creek Road. The coordinates for the final will be found in a micro. You will need to drive a short distance to the final. Park on Hamp Road, near the famed Bison In Pine cache (GC2KW3C). Happy hunting, and we hope you enjoy this truncated Alexauken Creek Adventure!
