Welcome to beautiful Oakland Nature Preserve! . The Oakland Nature Preserve is located in Oakland, Florida and is open 365 days a year. The beautiful wooden boardwalk, nature trails and visitor center are free and open to all from 8am- Sundown. Admission is FREE but donations are greatly appreciated and allow the preserve to stay open as often as they do. For a guided nature walk or group tour there is a charge of $3.00 per person. I was first introduced to this beautiful 128 acre preserve over a year ago when I did the great multi located within the preserve! It really is a shame people don't do that cache more often! It is such a peaceful walk. I hid this cache with hopes that it will draw more people to preserve to enjoy it as we have and to get the multi some more activity! Enjoy the area and happy hunting! THERE IS NO REASON TO LEAVE THE BOARDWALK WHILE DOING THIS CACHE!
