The Siv Traditional Cache
oppie3292: I finally got over to verify the status of this cache. As suspected, it has been muggled again as the wire holding the bison tube is still attached to the post, but the container was missing.
I paid my respects to Siv, and, after 12 years, I am forced to archive this one.

"Dedicated and loving family man, passionate, community minded individual who loved to participate in all sports, with a real passion for hockey. A player, great motivator, teacher, coach, convenor and mentor whose commitment to the GBMOHL will never be forgotten."
On May 17, 2010, the Stayner area, as well as JrC hockey in general, lost a "gentle giant" of a man, and a personal friend of mine. In his memory, and with the approval of his family, the Georgian - Mid-Ontario JrC Hockey League prepared a new trophy to be awarded annually - the Paul Carruthers Coach of the Year Award.
This cache is placed near his resting spot on the occasion of the presentation of the annual award this evening to Chad Moreau, the current coach of the Stayner Siskins, and the inaugural recipient.
