Geocache Description:

A find that will take a short walk down an abandoned railroad trail. Look for a small container with a log book and some small items to trade. Plenty of room to leave a travel bug. They would love the surroundings.

Ilinois Central closed this rail down several years ago, This cache was placed to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We took many walks down railroad tracks in our youth. This cache is in memory of those great walks together. The tracks are gone now from this trail but the railroad bed is still in place. A short walk will get you close to this one but look a little off the main track to find this one.
Nice park area to the north of cache location.
