Haggate Circle 2 series
This is another short circle with a few caches. Total length about 2.5 miles or 3.5Km, and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours.
It is mostly on footpaths, but includes some footpaths at the side of the road. This circle can be linked with Haggate Circle 1
Suggested parking is N53 48.799, W 02 11.705. Alternative parking at N53.48.613 W2 12.084. Either of these points would make a good start for the circle which can be done either clockwise or anti clockwise.
Overall terrain is up to 2.0. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs or strollers, but is suitable for dogs.
The intention is that other circles can be added at later dates, linking with a point about half-way around the circle, thus extending the series.
Please note! With this cache, difficulty depends very much on the time of year. Easy in the winter, but almost impossible through the summer when the undergrowth is there.
