Geocache Description:

(Formerly Broadway Upper High Street No.1).

A nice easy to get to cache on Broadway Upper High Street. Could be done either on the way to The Old Fish or Drip Drap Drop, or as a cache and dash although please note that the Upper High Street has double yellow lines and a regular patrol of traffic wardens!!!

A disguised Nano. Please put this back exactly where you find it!!!

On the right hand side of the road near the GZ is Court Farm which was once the home of Mary Anderson the famous Victorian/Edwardian actress who despite critical acclaim retired in 1889 at the ages of 30 after collapsing on stage with exhaustion.

In 1890 she married Antonio Fernando de Navarro, the Papal Privy Chamberlain of the Sword and Cape, with whom she settled at Court Farm where she became a noted hostess with a distinguished circle of musical, literary and ecclesiastical guests - Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers, musicians and well known literary figures were amongst the many visitors to Court Farm.

She died in 1940 aged 80.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TARMACJOHN ON FTF!!!
