Howdy! And welcome to the area!
We are celebrating the tenth (X) anniversary (ANN) of the very first ever geocaching event. It happened in Austin on March 24, 2001 at Scholz Beer Garten.
This cache (and any others with X-ANN in the name) is placed by a CenTex geocacher to commemorate this event.
We hope you are able to attend our celebration-GC2GA58 and the other related events. But if you miss it, well at least you can find one of the anniversary cache!
