The original church is Norman 11C, but considerable additions have been made over the course of time, so that the church has a real strange mixture mixture of styles built up through the centuries, and all kinds of strange carvings around the outside, corbels, gargoyles and sheela-na-gigs. It has been described as one of the most important churches in Somerset, for its architecture.

Let the number of the sign of the zodiac on the right = C. As the door has been locked, preventing cachers from seeing the tympanum, it is now included here.
