Return of Venona Traditional Cache

This is an easy cache marking a point Venona must have traveled.
The cache is a plastic jar covered in camo tape similar in size to
a peanut butter jar.
Each year that communist Venona returns and leads the GBA through
some activities. This year Team Checker along with Forman followed
his trail to a lovely area up hill from here. That place was too
far off the official trails to mark with a cache because of the
park guidelines. So I placed this very simple cache along the trail
where he must have passed. The cache is sitting in plain sight.
There are a couple routes to get here, and your choice affects the
terrain rating. I gave this a relatively low rating appropriate if
coming from the trail head on Black Road. Alternatively, there is a
significantly shorter and steeper route you could choose from
Sanborn Road. There isn't much of a hide here and it is within 20
feet of the service road, so it should be an easy find. Only time
will tell if muggles will leave it alone. The trail is a service
road, generally wide and there didn't appear to be any Poison Oak
near the cache so it should be easily avoidable. However, it can
sprout up almost anywhere around here so be wary of the possibility
of Poison Oak. Please try to replace the cache upright and out of
sight of the trail to keep the contents dry and hopefully
safe.
