You'll recognize the type of terrain and realize it's an easy enough smiley -- as long as you can find the right crook or nook. If it's replaced right, it'll be staring you right in the face.
I drive by this place ALL the time and have eyed the rock retainer wall again and again and again. Even when a cache popped up at the nearby soccer facility, I never gave up on wanting to place a particular type of cache in that spot.
Inside staff of the nearby gas station didn't know what geocaching was and didn't seem too particularly interested, but at least one of the attendants outside watched me make the hide and asked a lot of questions about geocaching. So, depending on how much they talk to each other, some or all will be "aware."
