Geocache Description:

On the 16th of January a team of Oberon cachers (JABs and Code1) hit town with puzzles on their minds. They wanted to see how many puzzle caches they could log in a 24 hour period. This has become known as The Great Oberonian Puzzle Plunder!!

As part of this effort Mr Roo arranged an event in honour of this attempt and I was lucky enough to win a fully-stocked ammo can cache. I thought it only fitting that I put it out as a puzzle cache and that the cache honour JABs and Code1 and their finds!

To find the cache, answer the following questions:

  • This cache has a Japanese name and IS hidden at the listed coordinates. Under how many minutes did it take JABs to get to the log? Subtract 1 for A
  • No "more shopping" was had at this time of the morning. What was time AM? add 2 for B
  • An archived cache near Vernon Circle. In his log Code1 muses on what might have been. How many points to the tree? = C
  • At a cache near Parliament House, now archived, Code1 was worried about his foot prints. How many tens of millimetres deep were they? = D
  • A cache near the Museum with a caving theme. Code 1 mentions his first ever cave by a code. Add the two numbers together for E
  • When they approached a certain avian-themed cache of mine, it was just before what time AM? = F
  • Another cache of mine, this one with a sporting theme, was approached at a certain time. Add together all the digits for G
  • At this Goodbeard cache with a compass direction in the name, the boys mention the parking time limit. Take 80% of that for H

The cache can be found at S35 2A.BCD E149 0E.FGH
