THIS CACHE IS RELEASED TO MARK OUR 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF GEOCACHING AND HAVING REACHED 300 FINDS.

The challenge of this cache is for one of the finders to follow on with the Russian Doll principle and plant the next cache.

Inside this cache there is a prize - a fully stocked cache of Regular size ready to be placed. Inside this cache is another fully stocked cache prize of Small size for a finder of that cache to then set .. etc. Please make sure you take the whole cache found in Matryoshka (containing the next set of caches) and do not separate the caches out as they are all ready to go, stocked and with log books .. Thank You.

In total there will be 5 caches including this one, going from Large to Regular to Small to Micro and finally a Nano. PLEASE only take the next cache if you are going to be able to set it. We do not mind what kind of cache is set or where. There is no time limit for setting the next cache if you choose to take it so please take the time to set a cache you know others will enjoy!


We would also ask that you email us the details of the next cache in the series so we can add a link to this page.

Please use the above title as part of your cache naming until the series of 5 caches is complete.

Parking can be found along Cartridge Lane but please park carefully not blocking any gates. I am not sure if there are any parking restrictions but it is a country road so be cautious.
At the 1st Stage you need to look to the telegraph pole, on this pole there are two letters and three numbers (these will be more difficult to see at certain times of year depending on plant growth. You need only the letters and second two numbers).

You now need to covert the two letters into numbers, you will now have 4 numbers which will correspond to A,B,C, & D (A being the number gained from converting the 1st letter, B the 2nd. C, & D being the 2 numbers on the pole) which you then need to place in the following equation. This will give you the co-ordinates for the next stage.


N53 (C-D) (B/A/A). DC(B/A/A + D)

W002 (D/{B/C}) (B/A/A). A(A+{B/A/A})(D+{B/A/A})

From this point on you are on your own!


The cache should be completed in under an hour and I have added extra instructions in each cache so it is easy for a finder to carry on with the principle.


Be careful as there may be thorns and nettles and we know they can hurt

After the the cache has been found and the prize taken I will restock the cache so there will be plenty of swaps.


As an added bonus in the large, regular, small and micro cache there will also be an unregistered Travel Bug for you to use as you wish .....this will not be in the stocked cache you may choose to take to place, but the cache you find! Again though please let us know the details, and reference this cache in their description so we can track their progress.
