Just to the side of the path .
This cache is placed to honour my mother, Gussie, who lived in this area for years, and passed away a number of years ago. As a family, we used to go skiing up Seymour when this area was just an old gravel pit.
My mother and father moved to this area when the first developments went in, and they were still completely surrounded by forest. My mom was an avid walker, and would be out every day in the woods - rain, shine, sleet or hail. Now the area is quite developed, but there are still many small trails around where you can go for a walk and talk about life, the universe, and everything else, as my Mom and I did every time I visited.
I only come back here to visit infrequently now, but I always go for a walk because it reminds me so much of my Mom. Enjoy the area - I do!
The cache is easily accessible, only one step off the trail. No need to ramble around in the woods.
