Geocache Description:

Have a seat on the concrete pillar! Nice view from here too :)

Construction was started on the Clackmannanshire Bridge in 2006. Sections of road were pushed out over the forth until it was finally completed in 2008.

Originally referred to as the Upper Forth Crossing, several names were suggested including the Kingdom Bridge or the Wallace Bridge (can see wallace's monument on a clear day from here). October 2008 saw the bridge formally named the Clackmannanshire Bridge.

Strange thing tho, is that the bridge isnt in Clackmannanshire!!! Falkirk to the south and Fife to the north.
