At the time it was a good trick
President Kennedy, he was the man
He said on the shores we must land
So NASA did their thing
And launched a plane that had no wings
It soared to the moon and then came back
And in Circle Lake it did splat
The call went out a bit candid
Huston the Pelican has landed
