Ciao collega geocacher,

Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto del cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

Grazie per l'attenzione e per ogni ulteriore informazione ti prego di non esitare a contattarmi o attraverso il message center oppure inserendo un log in questo cache.

After more than one month from my last note I didn't receive any answer and no action has been done.
If you haven't done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible. If you are going to fix the problems connected to this cache, once it is ready please drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. Sanremo Molo Sud
Vom Mittelalter bis zum 19. Jahrhundert stellte der Hafen die wichtigste Einnahmequelle der Stadt dar. Verschifft wurden vor allem Zitrusfrüchte, die auf den umliegenden Hügeln gediehen und wegen der schlechten Maultierpfade nur sehr schwer auf dem Landweg transportiert werden konnten. 1435 wurde der Hafen erweitert, 1660 fordern die Konsuln vom Genueser Senat eine Verbesserung des Hafens, der 1667 ‚ständig ein Wald von Schiffsmasten’ ist. Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts arbeiten dort 4000 Einheimische, 120 Schiffe und 100 Boote liegen hier. Dann kommt die Konkurrenz der Genueser und Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts die endgültige Krise aufgrund der Eisenbahn und den Dampfschiffen.

Dal Medioevo all'Ottocento il porto costituisce la principale risorsa della città. Vengono imbarcati gli agrumi coltivati sulle colline che difficilmente sono trasportabili via terra per la precarietà delle mulattiere. Nel 1435 il porto è ampliato, nel 1660 i consoli chiedono al Senato genovese un miglioramento del porto che nel 1667 è ‚una perpetua selva di navigli’. Alla metà del '700 vi lavorano 4000 sanremesi e vi risultano attraccate 120 navi e 100 barche. Poi l'insabbiamento operato dai Genovesi e a fine '800 la crisi definitiva per la concorrenza dei treni e delle navi a vapore.

From the Middle Ages to the 1800's the economic life of San Remo was concentrated in the harbour; for example, the plant cuttings of all the citrus fruit trees grown on the surrounding hills were transported by sea.
In 1435 the harbour was widened, and in 1660 the authority in charge of San Remo asked the Senate in Genoa to enlarge the harbour. By the 1700's four thousand people were working in the harbour of San Remo, and some 120 ships and 100 boats found anchorage.
Then, the Genoese silted up the harbour and a period of crisis began: by the end of 1800's the steamships and trains marked the decline of the harbour of San Remo.
