Geocache Description:

På rundtur i Mellerup ad små ukendte stier og smutveje.

A short walk around Mellerup.

Du står foran en mindesten. Kig dig lidt omkring. Du kan blandt andet se Mellerup Friskole og Valgmenighedskirken. Til højre for friskolens parkeringsplads løber en lille sti kaldet "hulevejen". Den skal du gå ned ad. Undervejs kommer du forbi en boldbane. Blandt friskoleelever kaldet "Bubbidalen".

Når du er nået ned for enden af hulevejen, kommer du til en asfalteret vej. Gå nu ad vejen i retning af en stor gul gård. Hold øje med lygtepælene. Når du kommer til den tredje lygtepæl, stopper du op.

Se dig omkring. Der starter en sti her. Langs stien er der også lygtepæle, men de ser anderledes ud og er mindre. Følg stien op. Nu kommer du til en asfaltvej. Gå langs den og følg et lille stendige/stensætning rundt. Nu skulle du gerne kunne se en rød brandhane.

Gå op på fortovet ved brandhanen. Følg fortovet rundt i svinget og fortsæt i samme retning op for enden af denne vej. Her starter en lille grusbelagt sti. Der ligger fem store sten ved starten.

Følg stien og videre frem til du atter står ved en asfalteret vej. Se dig omkring. Du kan nu se to huse med stråtag. Gå til det hus der har det højeste husnummer. Gå derefter op til "noget stort blåt" Der står en masse tal på "dette blå". Der står telefonnumre to steder. Find det største skilt, med et telefonnummer på. Nu er du meget tæt på cachen. Se om du kan finde den! Du skal signere logbogen med dit personlige stempel. Hvis du ikke har et sådant kan du sætte et fingeraftryk sammen med dato og holdnavn. God fornøjelse.

Now you are stansind in front of a memorial stone. Take a look. You can see the school and the church. To the right side of the parking area of the school, there is a small track. Follow the track and you will pass a pitch. The pupils from the school call this place "The Buppi Canyon".

At the end of the track you will reach a paved road.Follow the road in the direction of a big yellow farmer house. Keep an eye on the lamp posts! Stop when you reach lamp post number three and look around.

A track starts here. Along the track there are also lamp posts. But they are of a different kind and smaller. Follow the track until you reach a paved road.Follow the road and a stone dike. Now you should be able to see a red hydrant. Step up the sidewalk.

Walk on that same sidewalk round the corner and continue till the road stops. Here a little graveled path starts. At the beginning of the path you will see five large stones. Follow the path till you reach a paved road.

Take a look around. You will see two houses with a thatched roof. Go to the house with the highest number. Thereafter walk to some thing "big and blue". There is a lot of numbers written on this "blue" Two places you will find a phone number. Find the largest sign with a phone number on. You are now very close to the cache. See if you can find it!
