Start of a series walking along public footpaths and through Forestry Commission Land. Please observe and respect ALL signs and notices.
Thanks to the local Rangers for allowing caches 4,5 & Bonus.
The walk, which is about 4 miles,there and back, but you may be tempted to make it a longer walk if you decide to continue to Rainworth Water and Log Its View.
Please note that mobile phone reception is very patchy in these woods.
THE CO-ORDINATES TO THE BONUS CACHE IN THIS SERIES ARE IN ONE OF THE 5 CACHES
The path is generally quiet and there is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy.
The path is more or less flat and apart from a 0.2 mile stretch which can be muddy after rain, is either road/compressed hardcore cycle track.
