I call this the Rondo Spring Trail. It is a loop that goes through Spear S Ranch and Spur Cross Conservation Area. Ring around the Elephant. This is a decon container next to the Lizard back Waypoint marking the Seven Springs cut off -- only 12 miles if you want a really fun hike.
This can be hiked as a loop with 10 new caches and a lot of caches alreaady in Sprear S Ranch. The loop is about 9 miles. If you park here (true high clearance, short wheel base, already PV scarred vehicle required) the hike to Rondo Spring is 2 miles; the Spur Cross Junction 2.5 miles; the Seven Springs cut off 2.8 miles; and the Elephant Trail 3.0 miles. There are lots of caches in Spear S ranch if you continue the loop. It is probably easier to park at the holding pens if you plan to do the loop.
Spear S Ranch is Land Trust Land so you need their permit.
