| Six Hundred FiftySix in the Famous People (FP) Series - Captain Underpants |
 |
Captain Underpants is a series of children's books about two fourth graders, George Beard and Harold Hutchins, and the aptly-named superhero they accidentally create by hypnotizing their principal, Mr. Benny Krupp.
George and Harold are two 4th grade pranksters, who are best friends and next-door neighbors. They started a comic book company called "Treehouse Comix Inc.," and every day at school they go to the secretary's office to make copies of their latest comic book and sell them on the playground.
Mr. Benny Krupp is the mean and evil principal of Jerome Horwitz Elementary School. Mr. Krupp has a very deep hatred of children. He gets hypnotized by George and Harold for being so mean to them and becomes the superhero Captain Underpants. He does not know of his superhero identity.
Captain Underpants - He always wears underpants and a red cape with black polka-dots. He is actually Mr. Benny Krupp hypnotized to think he is "Captain Underpants," a character created by George and Harold.
Whenever Mr. Krupp hears the sound of fingers snapping, he turns back into Captain Underpants. Captain Underpants turns back into Mr. Benny Krupp when water is poured on his head.
Originally, he didn't have any real superpowers (even though he believed he did), so George and Harold would have to follow Mr. Krupp every time he transformed into Captain Underpants to make sure he didn't get hurt.
As the North Texas Geocachers prepared to organize the team for the 2011 Texas Challenge, our first order of business was to elect our captain. Nominations were made, and the voting was overwhelmingly in favor of Sandbass Queen. We all take *Comfort* in knowing that she has the con and will lead us into battle with a spirit and dedication like no other.
Do not be surprised once TC11 is over, if you see us pouring water on our Capt'n Jo Sandbass Underpants Queen to bring her back to that sweet librarian lady from Rockwall, Texas.
FTF for this cache has been reserved for the Texas Challenge 2011 NTX Captain and the coordinates will be distributed prior to the official publication.
